Bill Backer, the creative mind
behind what is considered to be the
world's most famous advertisement, died last week at age 89, his wife confirmed to the
New York Times.
Backer is perhaps best k**wn for his iconic 1971 Coca-Cola commercial, "Hilltop," which enjoyed renewed popularity last year when it was featured prominently in the ****** finale of AMC's
Mad Men.*

He was also responsible for
famous earworms and slogans of several other major brands like Cambell's, Miller Lite — he coined the phrase "Miller Time" — Oreo,*Fisher-Price, Hyundai cars, Parliament cigarettes and others.
