Jude Releases Trifecta Aortic Valve with Glide Tech**logy in U.S.
St. Jude Medical is releasing in the
U.S. its new
Trifecta GT
Aortic surgical valve, a month since the European launch of the product. The new
Trifecta Valve with Glide Tech**logy offers a new deployment mechanism that makes placement and deployment easier in patients
with more challenging anatomy.
The
Valve itself retains the same*hemodynamic properties compared to the original
Trifecta and so should lead to similar outcomes for patients for whom placement may have been too difficult otherwise.
