Wilson does comedy for a living, but making false claims
about her is ** laughing matter.
The actress is
suing magazine publisher Bauer Media and its
Australian arm for defamation,*according to a writ filed with the Supreme Court of Victoria on Monday and obtained by
Mashable Australia.

In the writ, several of the publisher's titles —
Woman's Day, Women's Weekly, New Weekly and
OK Magazine — are claimed to have damaged Wilson's reputation through print and online articles expressing she had lied
about her age and her upbringing.
