police ******rs' use of force, five activists have been starving themselves for the last two weeks outside of Mission
police Station, vowing **t to eat until controversial
police Chief Greg Suhr resigns.*
Drained of nutrition and barely able to stand, the
hunger strikers on Tuesday were pushed in wheelchairs through the streets of San
Francisco to city hall, where they called for Suhr's removal.Hundreds joined them in support, holding signs decrying
police brutality and chanting "** justice, ** peace. ** racist police."*
The call for Suhr’s resignation — or firing — follows the controversial police
killings of Mario Woods, Alex Nieto, Amilcar Lopez, and most recently, a homeless man named Luis Gongora. Earlier this month, the uncovering of*
