Following the news that
Michael Strahan will leave Live! with Kelly and Michael for*
Good Morning America, ABC is in a bit of a time crunch to find the four-year host's replacement. Host
Kelly Ripa will remain
with the show while welcoming a ****** of guest hosts in the coming weeks, beginning
with ABC's own
Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel will
guest host while in New York City for ABC's upfronts, and subsequently return to Los Angeles for his own hosting gig on
Jimmy Kimmel Live!*
Strahan was originally slated to finish
Live! with Kelly and Michael*in September, but after
tensions mounted with his co-host, his official last day on the job will be May 13.
Kimmel will join
Ripa bright and early on May 16.
