sister files to be
estate executor, says he
didn't leave a will

Prince's younger
sister Tyka Nelson filed to become executor of his
estate Tuesday, saying in court documents obtained by
Mashable that the musical icon did **t
leave a
will — setting up what could become a complicated tangle to distribute his considerable assets.
Filed Tuesday in District Court in Carver County, Minnesota, the documents ask that Bremer Trust, a St. Cloud-based wealth management company that had been handling
Prince's riches for years, be named temporary administrator.

Tyka Nelson, who is two years younger than the late musician, would then become executor. Her filings list herself, three half brothers and three half sisters (one of whom is deceased) as potential heirs.
