Lin-Manuel Miranda is a wizard of freestyle. So to celebrate HeForShe,
Emma Watson asked Miranda to rap about
gender equality. He agreed, with one caveat: The former
Harry Potter star had to provide the accompanying beatbox.*
A red-faced
Watson obliged (after a hilarious line of questioning about how to use her hand as a spit-guard), and the resulting rap could definitely earned these two top OWLs in musicality.*
The rap was a small portion of an almost
hour-long interview Miranda and
Watson did in ho**r of the UN Women’s HeForShe Arts Week, a campaign celebrating International Women’s Day.*
