Starting this year, first and
second year undergraduate
students who
fail in more than two papers in their
second and fourth semesters (held in March) will stand to lose a year.
Mumbai University recently scrapped the policy of holding additional exams for failures immediately after their results are declared and have gone back to the old policy of holding ATKT (allowed to keep term) exams in October and March.
