According to local reports , a suicide car bomber detonated a bomb during an attempt to enter the city?s citadel area, killing at least four people. Erbil, the capital of Iraq?s Kurdistan Region, has been relatively unscathed by the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) that has swept across large parts of Iraq.
