Historical mosques will **t be touched
 

An official source at the Ministry of Finance said historical mosques in Madinah would **t be affected by the Prophet's Mosque expansion. He confirmed that Abubakr Al-Siddiq, Omar Bin Al-Khattab, Ali Bin Abu Talib, Al-Ijabah and Abu Dhar (Al-Sajadah) mosques would remain untouched.
