England's Zoe Smith wins Commonwealth gold in the 58kg weightlifting event in Glasgow
 

Zoe Smith got the better of Welsh veteran Michaela Breeze to claim gold in the women's 58kg weightlifting in Glasgow. Smith trailed Breeze by a single kilo after the snatch part of the competition in which the Commonwealth Games record was broken three times.
