Yoko Ono poses for new look no nudes Pirelli calendar
 

</p>Yoko Ono is one of the influential women chosen to pose in this yearâ??s re-styled Pirelli calendar, which is ditching its traditional nudes in favour of powerful portraits.

The prestigious calendar is famous for its risquأ© pictures of the worldâ??s top supermodels but it has been taken in a new direction with the help of leading photographer Annie Liebovitz.

She intends the calendar to celebrate women who are changing society.

John Lennonâ??s widow will feature alongside names including Serena Williams, singer Patti Smith and US comedian and actress Amy Schumer.

Leibovitz told Vogue magazine: â??I started to think about the roles that women play, women who have achieved something. This calendar is so completely different. It is a departure. The idea was not to have any pretence in these pictures and be very straightforward.â?*

Behind the scenes shots revealed on social media show Yoko wearing a black corset, jacket and top hat for her photo but all images will be revealed at a London launch at the end of November.
