A Brain Injury Is Like The Color Blue
 

Since recovering from a brain tumor, I am learning that it is very difficult to explain to others what a "new brain" feels like. It is like trying to describe the color blue to someone who is blind and has not experienced color in any way. Without a common understanding or concept for comparison, it is quite impossible to describe an experience.
