Following on from "How Breast Cancer Is Diagnosed - Part 1" where various methods of breast examinations were discussed: Here in Part 2, we talk about "biopsies" and their role in determining whether breast masses are either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). The biopsy stage is a critical stage for any woman, as it indicates that something suspicious has already been found that needs investigating.
