Assessment of the Level of Economic Development of Rural Areas
 

The article considers methodological approaches to assessment of economic potential of rural and urban territories of Krasnodar territory, including justification of parameters and indicators of evaluation, stages of evaluation, methods of convolution metrics and search ranking. There are the recommendations for improved utilization of the economic potential of rural territories of Krasnodar territory. Assessment of the economic potential of rural areas allows to compare the actual result with the possible and to assess the potential of individual territories, grouped to their level of development of the economic potential; identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of use of the economic potential of rural areas, to study the causes of under-utilization, and on this basis to develop measures, aimed at maximizing the use of the economic potential of rural territories; considering program development in rural areas, use the results to determine the organizations in the area that has the greatest impact of the use of available material resources and on this basis to carry out their state and municipal support.
