AN-32 missing,13 personnel of IAF feared killed Times of IndiaSix officers and seven other IAF personnel were feared killed after an ageing Russian-origin AN-32 transport aircraft went missing after it took off from Jorhat airbase in Assam for Mechuka Advance Landing Ground in Arunachal Pradesh near the border with China on Monday afternoon. It brought back haunting memories of July 22, 2016 when another AN-32, on way to Port Blair from Chennai, had crashed with 29 personnel on board into the Bay of Bengal.
