JCP recommends Justice Qazi Amin as SC judge
 

ISLAMABAD: Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on Thursday recommended to appoint Justice (R) Qazi Muhammad Amin as a Supreme Court Judge. The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, chaired the meeting of JCP here, which was also attended by Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Umer Ata Bandial. The commission unanimously recommended the name of Justice (R) Qazi Amin for appointment as top court’s judge. The recommendation would be sent to the Parliamentary Committee for Appointment of Judges for consideration of the name. It may be mentioned here that Qazi Amin had been serving as judge in the Lahore High Court (LHC).http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/cwEr/~4/EXQ6LYe4j7k
