Chotu Gang leader among 22 awarded death sentence
 

MULTAN: Anti-Terrorism Court-I Tuesday awarded death sentence to ring leader Ghulam Rasool Chotu, his brother Pyara and 20 accomplices.The court also awarded rigorous life imprisonment to two gang members of below 18-year-old. ATC Judge Khalid Malik trialed the case and convicted all the accused. All the 20 accused are: Ghulam Rasool Chotu, Nadir, Din Muhammad, Khalid alias Khaldi, Ishaq alias Bilal, Akram alias Akri, Ghulam Haider, Hakim, Razzaq, Majid, Nasir, Sher Khan, Jumma alias Butha, Rasheed, Behram, Bashir, Abdul Wahid, Mujeebur Rehman, Hussain Bakhsh and Pyara.All the convicts would have to pay compensation worth two million rupees to the legal heirs of each martyred police official.
