Dress Donations Now Being Accepted at Parsippany Library

Parsippany residents may be familiar with donating used books to the library but are also being encouraged to donate their semi-formal and formal dresses as the Friends of the Parsippany Library gear up for their second annual prom dress sale. آ*Donations are being accepted through February 15th. آ*

Last yearâ??s sale offered over 200 dresses ranging from size 0 through 22 and a wide range of styles, from short and simple to long and dramatic. آ*The sale raised over $1300 for teen programming and caught the attention of local and regional media outlets, including CBS News New York.

Donations can be dropped off at the Parsippany Main Library at 449 Halsey Road during library hours. آ*Dresses must be brand new or in gently used condition. Dry cleaning is not necessary but the Friends ask that dresses be clean and ready to wear without rips or stains. آ*

This yearâ??s sale will take place February 22, 23, and 24. آ*More details will follow.
