At what point do you opt for a transporter?
 

Currently searching for a new house out of the area, pony will be on full livery whilst I move and I figured I?d price up a transporter and bring him up once we?re settled. Considering taking him myself now seeing as I need to move the trailer anyway...at what point would you ditch that idea and hire someone to take him? House I?m keen on now is 5 hrs/300 odd miles away (5 hours is obviously based on not towing so maybe 7 with trailer?). I personally think that?s doable myself as he?s a very good traveller. What do you guys reckon?
