El-Sisi wins Egypt's presidential race with 96.91%

El-Sisi's sole contender, leftist Hamdeen Sabahi, took a*modest 757,511 of the votes (3.9 percent). According to Judge Anwar El-Assi, 25,578,233*voted in the elections, a tur**ut of*47.5 percent.*Spoilt votes exceeded the votes for Sabahi, with 1,040,608 invalidated ballots. The official results an**unced by the PEC can**t be appealed, as per the presidential election law issued by interim President Adly Mansour on 8 March.
