Riding hat size
 

I?ve finally bought myself my first riding hat (I?ve always used my riding school?s), but I can?t work out if it fits or not. My head measures 57cm which is the size I went for. The hats that I normally wear are 56/57. The hat is nice and snug between the sides of my head, but at the back there is about 1cm where I can fit my finger. I have some suction when I take off the hat and my eyebrows move slightly when I move the hat forwards and backwards. Do I opt for a smaller size (assuming the hat will get bigger when the lining breaks in), or do I stick with the 57?
