Israel calls for boycott of Palestinian unity government
 

Jerusalem, June 1 (IANS) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the international community Sunday **t to recognise the Palestinian unity government set to be an**unced Monday. "I call on all the responsible entities in the international community **t to go ahead and ack**wledge a Palestinian government which includes Hamas," Xinhua quoted Netanyahu as saying in a statement. "Hamas is a terror organization which calls for the destruction of Israel, and the international community should **t embrace it. On Saturday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that Israel has officially informed the Palestinian side that it will boycott the new Palestinian unity government.
