Could the culprit be Rufty?
 

Rufty is 25 and been there and got the T shirt. According to my yard sharer he is half human. A while ago I posted about him picking the feed room keys off the floor and presenting them to yard sharer whilst she was doing nets. He then kept nudging her until she opened up. He also plays tunes on the wire fence with his teeth. A couple of days ago I went to check the electric fence battery and discovered all the dog clips were on the floor and the earth wire pulled out of the energiser .We are in a secluded spot and the fence battery is behind the muck heap in a pile of weeds . I noticed the grass had been trampled down and there were some droppings. The horses grass has been burnt off but there is still some behind the fence. We cannot think of any other explanation except Rufty and his teeth again.Any other ideas? By the way the horses have ad lib hay.
