Manhattan's first ever Dairy Queen has finally opened — and among a certain set of New Yorkers, the enthusiasm for the chain's iconic Blizzard ice cream is palpable

The new Dairy Queen — technically a DQ Chill & Grill — created a special Big Apple Blizzard for the restaurant opening Wednesday, made with granny smith apple pieces, pie filling, vanilla soft serve, whipped cream and cinnamon
