Questions about jackets!
 

I've recently had a change of horse (horses to be precise) and I'm now in the position to potentially start getting out and competing after a hefty break. However new horses are very different and what I would be doing with them would therefore vary. Is there a jacket that people would suggest that would cover most activities? Having taken on two horses money is tighter than usual! It would be a mix of low level dressage, hunter trials, perhaps hunting and maybe an ODE or two.... Both horses are coloured. I'm thinking tweed might be the most versatile but will I have to buy both tweed and a show jacket?It's been so long I can't even picture what people wear....! Thanks in advance!
