Another day... more bad news...
 

So we are onto day 3 of rubbish news... and negative posts from me. Again I apoligise at how rubbish and negative my posts are and this is very much a woe is me/need a hug/ need to vent post.So my good event horse, was 11th at BE, placed 7th first event of the season, is looking really well etc etc is lame.He has had a couple of days off from the weekend when he ran and trotted over to be last night in the field and I wasn't 100% he was right... lunged him today to check... slightly shorter (normal he is a really nice mover) on the left rein... dog lame on the right rein. Farrier and physio have both been at the yard today ajd we have ruled out shoulder and foot. Think its below fetlock joint.... now having nightmares about ringbone, fractures, fusion of coffin joint etc etc. I was so looking forward to doing a 1 star this year and maybe an intermeadiate on him. Looking at his dressage sheet, which was a poorer mark than normal judge commented on regualrity and being on right shoulder a lot. He defiently wasnt visably lame and then jumped a double clear very very enthuasicially. Fingers crossed he is just abit jarred up because of the firm ground. I just know how much more bad news I can handle this week... its only Wednesday ffs!!!So yes just an update... started the season off with potentially 4 lovely event horses... down to 2 now. At least my youngster has been amazing today. Tomorrow will be spent phoning vets, cancelling events, advising the riding club that I can't be on the team etc etc...
