Sensitive Feet
 

My new young cob has very sensitive feet as I believe she's been trained/hit on the legs/hoofs to lift her feet as a gypsy trotter :-( and doesn't like them being touched. She tries to bite me when I do the left side. I do manage to pick them out ok mostly, but I'd like to clip off the feathers particularly as she may have mites and will be easier to keep clean. I guess if I keep brushing them gently and try to desensitise her we'll eventually get there. Any other tips?
