Workload for horses that are growing
 

M is 5 yrs old - the last few weeks I've noticed that he is a little bum high and riding wise he is struggling a bit with longitudinal balance and can get very on the forehand at times (understandably)I'm toying with either giving him a bit of time off or reducing his workload for a few weeks. He's currently ridden 5 times a week, mix of flat, hacking, low level jumping with a lesson every couple of weeks What do you all do with your youngsters when they are growing?
