Imran to reap what he has sown: Shahbaz
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said Imran Khan Niazi must know that change required hard work of public service, not lies.
?The claimants of change are totally devoid of the passion of public service and Niazi and the PTI had done nothing except speaking lies, taking U-turns and pursuing negative politics,? he added. Talking to Malik Ahmed Karim Langrial and other assembly members, Shahbaz said the steps taken by the PML-N government for improving the people?s quality of life had no parallel in Pakistan?s history. During the meeting, the lawmakers apprised the chief minister about development issues of their areas and progress on ongoing projects. Shahbaz said a culture of institutional transparency had been promoted in the province. He said the poor state of affairs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was known to everyone, adding that the elements impeding the journey of development and wasting precious time of the nation through sit-ins would not escape public accountability. ?What Niazi Sahib had sown earlier, he will have to reap it in the 2018 elections,? he remarked. Separately, Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar called on Shahbaz Sharif and discussed different health projects and political issues. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said a positive change had been witnessed in the working environment of public-sector hospitals in the province due to the steps taken for bringing improvements in health sector. He said the increase in the number of patients in public-sector hospitals manifested strong public confidence in the Punjab government.Tarar termed the health sector reforms in Punjab as a welcome step and added that credit of these reforms went to Shahbaz. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/cwEr/~4/SKOYyv7cIgw أكثر... |
