They definitely orchestrated this entire skit just so they could get in a joke about a "star war", didn't they?

In the clip above Jimmy Kimmel announces that Mark Hamill is getting his own Hollywood star. When they cut to a live feed of Hamill, though, everyone's favourite Jedi is busy pounding away at the pavement with a jackhammer. And the star he's destroying to make room for his own is, of course, Kimmel's.
