Hoof boots
 

I took my daughter?s pony out in the woods today for what I believe is the first time since we pulled his front shoes and the poor thing did not like the stones on the track (so 80% of the ride we were trying to avoid them). Now that it?s starting to get nice I?m planning on riding him in the woods more often to get him to a point where I?m confident that he?s safe for her on him. So I have an option of putting shoes back on him ( he came with 4 and now has none) but he has great feet otherwise and I don?t think he really needs shoes for the work he does the rest of the time (lots of flat schooling and a bit of low jumping). So I?m thinking about putting some boots on him for hacking. So I?m looking for a boot that fits rather round feet and will survive walking through mud?
