Feed my horse...
 

As the possibilities are endless... Horse out 24/7, will be brought back into work shortly after a few months off. Needs to build up a lot of topline and back end muscle due to previous injury. Will be doing ground work/in hand work/lunging to start with. Any feed needs to be low sugar and starch, and not needing to be soaked.He's not being fed much hard feed at the minute, and I don't really think he needs stacks of it either. Farrier has recommended a hoof supplement as hooves were quite soft.So in theory the first port of call would be a balancer - the forage plus and progressive earth ones were recommended in my last post for hoof supplements. However I'm currently using a vit and min powder that I'm very happy with, and don't want to stop using. I have started using the same companies hoof supplement.I have previously used a muscle supplement on another horse, which worked very well, and when in work, current horse does much better on a valarian supplement.I'm not really sure that so many supplements is a good idea, nor does my bank balance. I'd love to put loads more hay out in the field, however that's not going to happen.
