Greta Gerwig didn'ttake home the Oscar for Best Director during Sunday night's Academy Awards. That honor went to Guillermo Del Toro for The Shape of Water.*

But before opening the envelope, presenter Emma Stone gave Gerwig a shoutout for her role as the sole woman nominated in the directing category.
