McDonald's isn't the only junk food company that has a story bigger than its product.

Flamin' Hot Cheetos is getting its own movie, one that won't focus on spicy mascot Chester Cheetah. Instead, Flamin' Hot will focus on the story of the snack's creator, Richard Montañez, the son of an immigrant who found his way into the snack business as a janitor.

First reported by Variety, the film is set for production by Fox Searchlight and producer DeVon Franklin. Like 2016's The Founder, the film will focus on Montañez's life story and his path to corporate food mogul, according to the publisher.* Read more...
