https://media1.popsugar-assets.com/f...1485210351.jpgWhen Anthony Triolo first moved into his 150-square-foot apartment on the Upper West Side, the actor assumed that this living situation would be temporary. However, six years later the actor still calls his petit brownstone studio home, and miraculously, has yet to outgrow it.
</p>"This was the first place I found on Craigslist that wasn't a scam," Anthony told New York Magazine. While the space wasn't ideal, he decided to embrace it because "the rent was low, plus it was clean, and the bathroom had been nicely renovated." </p>After signing the lease, the How to Be Single star began transforming the space into multifunctional areas to utilize every aspect of his apartment. "Since I'm working with such a small space, most areas have dual functions," Anthony said. For a modern color palette, Anthony worked black, gray, and brown with pops of lime green inspired by a blanket his mom made. His bed is nestled above a custom marble kitchen counter that doubles as a desk space with a sleek ladder connecting the two units. </p>In order to get maximum organization in both his living and sleeping areas, Anthony made a few trips to Ikea for metal and plastic storage units and added a natural feel with wood chairs from West Elm. "They were floor models - which means, hashtag discount," Anthony said. </p>Check out the rest of his sleek upgrades that showcase the beauty in small living.
