To some people, Black Panther is just a movie, but to so many viewers it is the first time they can see themselves or something resembling their heritage portrayed positively on a big screen. In honor of the fictional nation of Wakanda, an African country untouched by white colonialism, audiences dressed to impress and to make T'Challa proud.
