There's a Good Reason Kate Middleton Might Not Wear Black to the BAFTA Awards

https://media1.popsugar-assets.com/f...1518449430.jpgSeeing the British royals on a red carpet is quite rare, but Kate Middleton does make a few exceptions. For the second year in a row, the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to attend the BAFTA Awards on Feb. 18 in London, and her outfit choice is already a hot topic of conversation.

This time around, celebrities will be expected to wear black in support of the Time's Up movement, which stands against sexual harassment and assault in the workplace. However, as members of the royal family stay away from anything political (they don't even vote), we can't help but wonder whether Kate will go against the protocol and show her support by wearing black or risk being the only attendee in color.

Last year, Kate wore an antiprincess dress that would have been perfect for this year's ceremony. Her black, off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown was both elegant and sophisticated, and her brilliant jewels were the perfect touch to make her stand out against Hollywood's elite. As we wait to see if Kate will wear black, check out what she wore to the 2017 BAFTA Awards.
