Insurance. Renewal time question.
 

Last year I attempted to make a claim. Short story is, horse was stupidly only insured for accidental injury and not illness so no payout. However it was simply due to the wrong policy and not being covered rather than being refused insurance. How does this effect my trying to get quotes now? Obviously I will have to phone companies rather than get quotes online and will disclose his illness but does this count as a yes to the "have you made a claim" and have you been refused insurance?I paid the bill myself, will there be exclusions on my new policy?
