Channing Tatum will play the card-slinging,*kinetic energy-manipulating mutant Gambit in future X-Men ******, a producer on the film franchise confirmed at the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere in London.

"Yes, it's Channing. It is Channing. Yes, yes," producer Lauren Shuler Donner revealed to Total Film during an on-camera red carpet interview Monday at the premiere.

“He’s a rogue. Channing, he’s a rascal, just like [Gambit's alter ego] Remy LeBeau,” she added. "And he can handle the action, well all k**w that, and he’s got a real good heart because I k**w him personally. ... He'l be great for Gambit.
