Because I can't ask pony I'm asking you guys!
 

I can't decide which is best for him and he won't tell me which he'd prefer! Elderly Section A, quite nervous, likes routine. Go's feral without handling but equally is very sweet once he's happy. Used as a companion to my retired gelding. They share a stable and are together 24/7. They do sometimes go with other horses aswell, particularly shitland and get on fine. They come in at night and alternate between out on the yard or out in the field by day. Big horse isn't the happiest in but little pony loves it. If I leave a stable door open he'd be in all the time. So here's my decision. Big retired is going to keep another big horse company for a month or so. They will live out and I'll hay/feed in the field. Pony can either go and stay with his friend (he gets quite panicky if for any reason they are seperated) Or he can stay here, keep his little routine and get tucked up at night. He'd then share with Shetland instead so won't be alone, but won't be with his "hero"!! If he stays I will take him away from his friend rather than the other way round as I don't think he'd cope otherwise ;) He's rugged and they will have natural shelter but not a cosy bed which he does love! So, if he could talk, which would he choose?!!
