Thanks to Tuesday night's episode of This Is Us, Crock-Pot has been forced to defend the integrity of its slow cookers online.

The latest episode of This Is Us gave fans a pretty cut-and-dry tease of the death of Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia), and the cause of his firey fatality seems to rest on the shoulders of a faulty slow cooker that looks like it could be a Crock-Pot branded appliance.
