IHC dismisses petition against ECP
 

ISLAMABAD: Justice Aamer Farooq of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday dismissed a petition challenging the notices issued to several political parties by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) asking them to submit details of at least 2,000 members and fulfill other requirements failing which their enlistment will be canceled. The bench dismissed the petition saying that the ECP had just issued a notice and the petitioner political parties could submit their objections to the commission.
