Advice on pony share costs
Hi, I would be very grateful for some advice/ ideas on what to charge IF we were to offer our lovely pony up for a sharer. We are in the South East so costs are pretty high.Livery costs are just over £500 (includes stable/turnout, mucking out, bringing in and turning out, rug changes, hard feed and hay etc basically everything bar daily groom & tack cleaning)Fabulous yard, great turnout, hacking and outdoor school. Lovely knowledgeable and professional yard owner and staff - lots going on, clinics/ demo's and in-house lessons.Pony is shod all round. I appreciate our pony is our responsibility so vets bills, insurance, physio, tack etc will be covered by usShe is a super smart pony, rising 12, just outgrown, great to hack out on own or in company, does a smart dressage test and easy to handle on the ground, in the stable and when ridden - def not a dobbin but comfortably forward. Not mareish, very pretty on the eye. What could we realistically expect in terms of financial contribution ? Or, should we be looking at a loan option - where insurance, livery, shoes, vets bills are generally covered - well they were when we loaned.Any advice gratefully received.
