Back support (sorry)
 

Seen a few threads on these but never read any as was not in the market for another one.History sorry if long. Back damaged from a fall in 1977 - *san* boarding-school sick place did not send me to get checked. 1981 it went out for the first time doctor said pills2 weeks later more pills3 weeks later more pillsThen Mum said Osteo = damage to L 3 4 & 5 going into facet lock and spasmbeen out 100'S of since (1981-2018)many osteo treatments many times could not move or get dressedpain cannot moveslipped diskssciaticaNow Hacked my mare Sunday and she has a huge canter cantering fast up the track behind another, and when she does this it is like a pogo sick, she is fine in school and trained flatwork 3 times by a BHS friend as I am tied to yard duties. (Has not done this before on her in the 2 years I had her)(No pain nothing just badly schooled/unschooled before I got her) She has come forward leaps and bounds since so it is just her and not being up to scratch which we are working on.Now in the evening on Sunday I felt a twinge when I got up later in evening and only just starting to ease, used deep heat and paracetamol and ibuprofen. Now the reason for the history is there might be a better back support than just a general one. Now the plan is to go sponsored riding again this year and driving my welsh A where my my back hurts too if I am in a position for to long (driving her). SOoooooo what good supports do you recommend and have used to someone who has a permanent damage and injury which can be un predictable, for both riding and pony driving. The annoying thing is most of the time 89% my back copes with all my work and lifting many heavy things, my posture isn't great due to scoliosis of the spine. Mince pies which are still in date and mulled whine if you get this far. :)Ps: the one I have is ancient and not suitable for riding.
