wet wet wet school- DIY drainage
 

i think i know the answer... but has anyone had any success with putting DIY drainage, trenches, pumping water out of a flooded school? The school on our DIY yard has flooded, its starting to get quiet deep and if the rain continues it will not be usable for a few months. I have brought a dirty water pump and dug a big hole which seems to be filling but the surface water isnt flowing onto my channels as it is just so boggy. Any tips or shall i just give up? I know it needs proper drainage but there is no money for it :( The school seems to be bark and dirt ... its not the best by anymeans
