Uber is reportedly looking to get family friendly with a new service for passengers with kids.

"Uber Family" would provide cars equipped with child seats and operated by only the highest-rated Uber drivers, according to a story from VentureBeat.*

Requesting an Uber Family car would result in a $10 surcharge. New York is said to be the trail city for the program.

A spokesperson for Uber said there is ** information on a family service to share right **w, but added "we're always working on new ways to deliver value to riders."
