Plea for treason case against Sharifs, Saad: Court seeks reply from CCPO Lahore
 

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions court on Monday sought reply from the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore on an application, seeking registration of a treason case against former premier Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.The petitioner requested the court to order registration of a treason case against the said persons as they were allegedly involved in a conspiracy to malign a ?national institution?. Additional District and Sessions Judge Munawar Ahmad directed the SHO Civil Lines and the CCPO to submit their replies in this regard by January 5.
