My horses are all knackered.
 

Four continuous days of storms, wind and rain, and freezing temps have come to an end, and we have a warm (14deg), almost sunny day and calm winds. Although they have a field shelter I don't think they actually rest when it sounds like Armageddon outside. Today they have all been resting for the past four hours. Taking it in turns to lie down and go flat out, then get up, stretch and snooze whilst standing, whilst another then lies down. They have literally been up and down again for hours. No point to this post, I guess I never realised before just how much they must sleep and how the weather affects them. Anybody else's horses obviously more sleepy after bad weather?
