Nearly 30 people are dead after three days of extreme storms slammed the central and southern United States.

As of Tuesday, there were at least 15 tornado-related deaths in Arkansas, six in Alabama, seven in Mississippi and one in Oklahoma. A**ther death was reported in Iowa.
